The guardian phaser gives the guardian who owns it a collection of wizardly powers. Phasers have three verbs: set phaser on <setting> aim phaser at <object or player> fire phaser Guardian phaser settings: heat -- Just prints silly messages. Usefull for reminding someone that you have the power to do worse. eject -- Ejects the offending player or object out of the room. hoof -- Ejects the offending player from the MOO. warn -- Warns and ejects the offender (see help @warn). extend -- Extends the object for an extra month. If the phaser is aimed at a player, all of the player's objects are extended. freeze -- Freezes the object. If the phaser is aimed at a player, all of the player's objects are frozen. thaw -- Thaws the object. If the phaser is aimed at a player, all of the player's objects are thawed. measure -- Recalculates the byte-size of an object. If the phaser is aimed at a player, all of the player's objects have their size recalculated. off -- Clears the setting and target properties. Due to the three commands (aim, set and fire) the phaser is slow to operate. However this multi-step process is an advantage in that offending players will normally clean up their behaviour when they hear a phaser being set or aimed.
