****HELP ON THE RULES OF CUTTHROAT**** --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unlike the other two games, Cutthroat is a three player game. A shooting order should be established before the balls are broken. Fifteen balls are racked into a triangle on the table. One of the two players is chosen to begin by 'breaking' the table. If on the break, a ball goes in, then the breaking player gets to shoot again. Players will be shooting at balls based on their order. The 1st player shoots at #06-15, the 2nd at #01-05 and #11-15, and the 3rd at #01-10. The object of the game is to shoot all of your target balls into the six pockets on the table. Any missed shot means the automatic loss of that player's turn. The last player with balls on the table wins. The 1st shooter must have a ball from #01-05 on the table, the 2nd shooter a ball from #06-10, or the 3rd shooter a ball from #11-15. If a player sinks the cue ball, then that player has scratched. The next player in the order gets to shoot at any of his target balls. Scratching means an automatic loss of the turn, regardless of whether the intended ball was sunk or not. So if the only balls on the table are in the group #01-05, the 1st shooter wins. If the balls are from #06-10, the 2nd player wins, and if the balls are from #11-15, the third player wins.
